Gut, dass das Trauerspiel nun beendet ist. Ich hoffe nur, dass sie nicht zum Abschied noch den Titel gewinnen werden, sondern Düsseldorf oder Saarbrücken gewinnen werden.

Die Mannschaft passte auch charakterlich zum Verein. Moregard der überall als Söldner unterwegs ist und einer der Beteiligten bei dem geplanten Abgang letzte Saison nach dem DTTB Pokal Final Four zur Rückrunde war. Ovtcharov der für Geld wahrscheinlich sogar seine verkaufen würde. Aruna, der obwohl nahezu jeder Russland aufgrund des Angriffskrieges gegen die Ukraine isolierte trotzdem letzte Saison mitten während dem Krieg nach Orenburg wechselte und für die Russen spielte. Passt einfach alles zusammen. Ich hatte weder gegen Verein, noch gegen die Spieler etwas, aber mit ihren Handlungen und Aussagen haben sie sich bei mir in kürzester Zeit verbrannt. Mit Geld kann man sich vor allem keinen Respekt erkaufen.

ETTU: TTC Neu-Ulm Clinches Final 4 Berth with Dominant Win Over KS DARTOM BOGORIA Grodzisk Mazowiecki

After Germany’s Borussia Düsseldorf and Austria’s SolexConsult TTC Wiener Neustadt, Germany’s TTC Neu-Ulm becomes the third club to secure a spot in the Champions League Final 4 (scheduled for March 31st and April 1st in Saarbrücken) with four wins in the Stage 2 Group phase. Tonight, they notched their second victory against Poland’s KS DARTOM BOGORIA Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

The Polish club had been the only adversary to put Germany’s stars severe pressure in the Champions League during their duel at the end of last month. In the opening leg, they forced a full-distance match where Dimitrij OVTCHAROV (12th in the world rankings) and Quadri ARUNA (16th) lost their duels against Takuya JIN and Milosz REDZIMSKI. However, tonight's match unfolded far from that scenario. In a furious style, the favorites sealed this phase of the competition with a decisive victory in straight matches. Additionally, all three matches concluded in straight games.

ETTU: KS DEKORGLASS DZIAŁDOWO Triumphs in Final Group Match


In the last match of the Champions League Men, Group C, Poland’s KS DEKORGLASS DZIAŁDOWO secured victory against French GV HENNEBONT TT on their home soil. Earlier, SolexConsult TTC Wiener Neustadt had concluded the group phase unbeaten, securing their spot in the Final Four.

Tonight, Jonathan GROTH showed superb form by earning two points. He defeated Andrei MALTIZOV and Alexander GILLEN without any trouble. Konishi KAII also faced no difficulties against Alexander GILLEN. Vladimir SIDORENKO was the sole player to score for the French side, overcoming Patryk LEWANDOWSKI.

Austria’s SolexConsult TTC Wiener Neustadt ascended from Stage One, recording three wins out of three matches. Equally impressive, they remained unbeaten in Stage Two.

Throughout the group stage, individuals stood out in matches – myself in Hennebont, Jin UEDA, and Frane KOJIC in the victory against Dzialdovo at home. There is no doubt about the mountains of tasks laying ahead for the club.

“Let's continue to the Final 4 and give our all to win a few more individual matches, regardless of the fact that the other three teams are much stronger than us. We won't give up, just like we didn't against Dzialdowo.”

ETTU: SPG Felbermayr Wels Triumphs in Portugal to Secure Second Place in the Group

The battles in another group in the Champions League Men have concluded, with the last match in Group D between Sporting Clube de Portugal and SPG Felbermayr Wels ending in favor of the Austrian guests. In a fiercely contested five-match encounter, Portugal pushed Wels to go the full distance, but they were unable to secure the victory.

In the preceding round, Borussia Düsseldorf had already secured its place in the Champions League Men Final 4 by concluding all four matches unbeaten. SPG Felbermayr Wels finished in second place with two wins and two defeats.

TTC Neu-Ulm, the winner of Group B, and SolexConsult TTC Wiener Neustadt, the winner of Group C, have already booked their spots in the Final 4. With only one match remaining in the Champions League Men group phase, tomorrow’s duel between Group A leaders, reigning champions 1. FC Saarbrücken TT e.V. and French A.S PONTOISE-CERGY TT in France will determine the final line up for Final four.

Darko schafft direkt im ersten Spiel gegen LIM Jonghoon mit 6:2 im Entscheidungssatz den wichtigen ersten Punkt.

Franziska, noch sichtlich angeschlagen, verliert dann gegen Freitas 1:3 bevor Yuto gegen Bouloussa mit 3:1 das entscheidende zweite Spiel für Saarbrücken holt.

Franz verliert 1:3 gegen LIM und dann durften die jungen Wilden noch ran. Saarbrückens Eduard IONESCU gewinnt 3:0 gegen Flavio MOURIER.
